60 Inch Plasma TV Can Fill Larger Rooms With Video
By Dave Kettner

The push continues to provide home video viewing as close to movie theaters as possible with high definition televisions and surround sound audio. Depending on the size of your room, a 60 inch may be the best new television set for the money. rooms.

As a general guideline, a 60 inch is best viewed from a minimum distance of about seven feet and a maximum of 15-feet. In exceptionally large rooms, a 60 inch can be placed against one wall with chairs, designed for use for television viewing, placed closer to the unit to achieve maximum viewing pleasure. Additionally, plasma televisions offer a wide viewing angle making is possible to place chairs in a semi-circle around the set and provide more seating for more people.

For many people who enjoy watching sports programming on television, a 60 inch can make the action appear as though it is happening in your own home. The picture quality remains high, even with the larger screen size, and with the color contrast available on a 60 inch there will be no mistaking the uniform colors of your favorite teams.

Appropriate Sound System Provides Theater Quality Experience

With a good sound system connected to a 60 inch when watching digital movies it may be easy to forget that you are at home. The amazing picture quality and sound make many people believe they are sitting in a movie theater, until they head for the snack bar and cannot find anyone selling popcorn. Even those seated to one side of a plasma television will share the same picture clarity of those seated directly in front of the screen.

Some chair manufacturers also provide an exciting new experience that can be enjoyed with a 60 inch in what are called rumble chairs. Connected to the surround sound’s bass speaker, whenever there is an explosion or sound that imitates a shaking motion in the movie, in addition to the bass sound emanating from the bass speaker, the sound is also sent to the chair which will feel as though it is vibrating or rumbling, providing a sense of being there.
